LPFPD4 proudly hosted its first Firefighter Recruit Academy graduation. For the first time, a dedicated class of six local recruits has officially completed a rigorous program designed to prepare them for the challenges and responsibilities of fire service.

The Walker Community Center recently buzzed with energy as Livingston Parish Fire Protection District 4 and its family members celebrated 50 years of dedicated service to our community, bringing together the people who helped make this milestone possible.

A written examination will be given approximately ninety (90) days, on a competitive basis to approved applicants for the purposes of placing names on the competitive employment list for the class of Maintenance Officer.

LPFPD4 has launched a Fire Educational Training program in August 2022 for all seniors in Livingston Parish. The first of its kind in the State of Louisiana, the program will train and educate young men and women interested in pursuing a career in firefighting.
