Safety & Education

Each year, the LPFPD4 responds to over 5,600 calls, 13% of which are fire-related.  You can always count on us to be there to put out a fire, but we hope that you won’t need us to!

We have prepared some resources to help reduce the risk of having a fire in your home.  Nearly all fires are preventable.  With your help, we can protect the citizens of Livingston Parish.

LPFPD4 offers a variety of fire safety presentations and training sessions for groups of all ages.

Please contact us if you have a group you would like us to address.
